J Mar spins at art parties in downtown Los Angeles. Recent venues include Café Metropol, POST and Angel City Jazz Festival. His mix is a fusion of rare grooves and beats from Philly, Ibiza and Brazil.

About Barker Block:
The Barker Block is a new living concept by The KOR Group, the creators behind some of the most contemporary and sought after hotels, destinations and designer residences. And now you can own this signature style in a home that showcases our obsession with design and detail, as well as our ability to create intriguing settings, social areas and gathering spaces. The Barker Block has been crafted to offer inspired homes and a true neighborhood living experience.

Just like the great creative urban neighborhoods, the Arts District is one of those secret spots with the fabric, originality and location that is attracting more and more attention from creatives and artists. A place full of independent cafés, fashion forward boutiques, celebrated restaurants and underground nightspots, endless creative studios, art lofts and galleries, and the connection of a small neighborhood. It's a neighborhood where you can trade your car for a bike, walk for coffee, make some friends and never see a yellow Hummer again. Pretty damn normal, yet really different for LA. Our community and the surrounding neighborhood just have that sense of life and all the special places that make you feel like this is a place you can call home and be excited to come back to.

About The Kor Group:
A leading innovator in the real estate and travel communities, The Kor Group and its hotel and development divisions set themselves apart with a curatorial approach to lifestyle experiences and passion for visionary design. For over a decade, the company’s diverse offerings have magnetized the world’s cognoscenti, from California to the Caribbean and Mexico to the Middle East.

Like Kor’s Viceroy Hotels, Resorts & Residences brand and The Tides collection of hotels and resorts, Kor Development’s Los Angeles residential properties bring together noteworthy destinations, provocative design, and sought-after amenities. From the authentic Barker Block and Molino Street Lofts in L.A.’s Arts District, to the historic Eastern Columbia and Broadway Hollywood, to Sunset Silver Lake at the Sunset Junction, this new breed of homes reflects and characterizes the city’s vibrant neighborhoods.
